The Asian American Law Journal (AALJ) is accepting submissions for publication in Vol. 33!
Since 1993 AALJ has provided a scholarly forum for the exploration of unique legal concerns of Asian Americans, including but not limited to the East Asian, South Asian, Southeast Asian, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities. Each annual volume typically contains articles, book reviews, essays, and other contributions from scholars, practitioners, and students.
We are particularly interested in commentary, analysis, and research on the diverse experiences of Asian Americans, particularly at the intersections of gender, class, sexual orientation, religion, and race. That said, we’re excited to consider submissions on any topic that contributes to a deeper understanding of Asian American life.Interested authors may submit through Scholastica or via email at aalj@berkeley.edu. We will review all submissions on a rolling basis. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
We look forward to reviewing all submissions!
